This half day course aims to introduce participants who use substances hazardous to health at work to the risks and hazards associated with those substances, the controls available and what to expect from a COSHH assessment. The course will assist participants to assess carefully their own work activities and contribute to the safer use of hazardous substances.
The course is not intended to train participants to carry out COSHH Assessments.

In House Certification is provided on completion of the course, subject to Successful Continuous Assessment during the course, there being no final exam.
