This half day course is aimed at those who carry out manual handling activities at work.
The course introduces participants to the general hazards of manual handling, the risks involved and the controls available.
Successful completion will help participants to look carefully at their work activities and contribute to the development of safer manual handling methods.
The course is not intended to train participants to carry out Manual Handling Assessments.

Manual Handling - Injuries and Causes
Manual Handling - Assessment and Control
In House Certification is provided on completion of the course, subject to Successful Continuous Assessment during the course, there being no final exam.
